How much do you think I could sell a Carrera gt for. It needs a fender and a front bumper....it only has 30 miles on it. I was thinking the 250-300K range. What do you guys thing?

That has to be one of the dumest questions on fchat this year. Fix the car and the market will decide. If you really own a car like that I know you would not come on Fchat and ask that question.

I think you would be lucky to get $250,000, my guess is about $220,000, give or take a little. Mint condition CGTs are trading hands as low as $335,000. Factor in that there is definately more damage than you think, and there is little to no demand for damaged supercars. I have been around enough CGTs to notice that if you damaged the fender and bumper, that you also would have done damage to the headlight, and multiple trim parts on the bumper(see attached pictures), and other parts that are under the fender that may have cracked. The impact may very well have caused stress cracks in the tub(the energy of the crash has to go somewhere), which is carbon fiber making it extremely hard to fix. The bumper and fender are also carbon fiber making the parts extremely expensive. To put things in perspective, one brake rotor is $7,000. The parts will be hard to find and could take months to get, and you have to go to specialty shops to get it fixed, as it is not really a do it yourself fix.
From these two pics you can see how close the parts are together, and all the carbon fiber parts in the opening in the front bumper.

One would also have to assume that anyone with a car like this would carry some decent insurance, so get it fixed, then sell it. No brainer.
