Questions about 355 "Challenge" rear grills...

    I have a 348ts, and I love the car except for the rectangular taillights. I am aware of a carbon fiber kit available to convert the tail lights to round. However, I am not 100 percent sold on the kit as it doesn't look quite "stock" to me.

    I have heard of others using the 355 challenge grill with some modifications to the grill to make it fit.

    My questions are about the 355 grill:

    1. Is the "mesh" a metal of some sort?
    2. If it is metal, I am assuming that it can be "worked" (bent) to different shapes by a skilled person?
    3. Does it have a "glossy" or "flat" finish from the factory?

    Well, I have the challenge grill on my 355 and it is metal mesh. I believe a "skilled" person could work with it. The finish is more of a satin, not flat or glossy. Good luck, I don't know how much modification one would need to do but it is very different from my past 348. Merry Christmas!
