On the Italia coupe when you order the 2-tone leather/alcantara option, what does the rear wall look like? There is a strip of alcantara (shown in red) on the door centers, and continues across the back wall in the diagram posted below.

    1. Is the rear wall below the alcantara strip finished in leather, alcantara or is that area still carpet? It looks to be leather in the diagram, but normally this area is carpet so I'm confused.
    2. If you order contrasting stitching (STC2 option) does the rear wall also get the contrasting stitching?

Any pictures you have to post are most appreciated. Thanks.

    Very nice!

But an option which I employed was to have the door inserts done in Carbon fibre matching the dash insert, driving zone, steering wheel and center console.

Makes perfect sense if you are into the CF-look.

Me, I'm not. That's why I restrained from ANY CF-options (except the race-seats).

But of course: Each to his own.
I'd only have it if it trimmed the car to 1,000 kgs. ;)

    Cheers,
    Ulli

The bottom section below the alcantara centre strip is leather. You can just make it out in this photo of my 1st 458. The stitching options are followed throughout the cabin so if you order STC2 then the stitching on the rear wall is finished in that pattern.

    Great pic Ulli,

Is that Charcoal leather and Burgundy alcantara? It looks exactly like my car inside....apart from a lot of cf ;-)

Thanks Iain your picture answers the questions perfectly. My spec will be very similar to yours, with the Nero leather/ Nero alcantara / Red stitching and stripe on the seat. After having lived with the car is there anything that you would have ordered differently?

I've had another coupe and now a spider after that particular car Larry. If spec'ing that coupe again I'd probably go for silver stitching as opposed to red and keep the red centre stripe. I did this on my spider and prefer the more subtle look it brings but the red is also really nice.

    @Edmondo:
Leather is plain nero. Guess it looks brighter because a) sunlight and b) bad photographer. Alcantara is indeed burgundy which is WAY brighter/livelier than in the configurator where it seems brownish (saw it in the flesh when doing the final specs in Maranello; loved and orderered it thereafter).

In my eyes a combo of silver and burgundy looks very classy.
    Congrats and enjoy !

    Best,
    Ulli
