    2 months ago i installed the fabspeed by pass pass for the muffler. Sound was insane the first 2 weeks. Now the sound is still amazing when im >4rpm but its back to normal below..

    Is it due to carbon accumulation inside the pipes ? Should i take them off and clean them ?

    Or is my hearing damaged :)...

    i think its all the above!
    im not 100% but I think theres a break in period on these things. 6speedonline.com prob would have some answers. Im thinking about getting the center muffler bypass pipes from sharkwerks.
    BTW bedside sound, any gain in the mid range power?

    Aren't they just an ordinary empty tube that on the outside looks like cat ?

    I've heard about the break in-period changing the sound......but it is most probably just your hearing acclimating to the sound of the mods over time. Kinda like having the same GF for a while.......... :D

    Not really..Car sounds faster but thats probably due to the new sound. Nothing noticeable.

    Thats how it looks like...just a curved pipe.

    You think if i take them off and wash them i would get the first week sound back again ? It was amazing...and i want it back :(
