I am looking for some feedback on the interiors from any of these places. I have spoken with Matt at Reoriginals, and he was very nice and helpful, but couldn’t exactly tell me what his door panel kit included. I was wondering if any of you have ordered the door kits from any of these three sites, and just exactly what they included. Are they complete, screw on panels with the door pockets and armrests in place? Or are they just the material to restore your old door panel with? Fairly pricy if that is all it is.

I was hoping someone had some pictures of what the finished product looks like.

Also, I notice a big price difference between the carpet kits, door panel kits, and seat covers, with Reoriginals being much more expensive than Italian Car Parts. Does anyone know why? From the descriptions on the sites, they appear to be comparable (Wilton wool, Connolly leather, etc..) So why so great a price difference? I have no idea what World Upholstery charges, as I haven’t spoken to them, nor do they list prices online.

Yep, I'm going to try to call some of them tomorrow. I was hoping someone could tell me what the door kits entail, as the man at reoriginals couldn't tell me anything, and he's selling them.

Not exactly what you're looking for but I just fitted a carpet set from worldupholstery for my 328 with mixed results quite honestly.
The carpets are good although they don't copy the originals exactly. Some pieces are re made into 1 piece which actually makes fitting easier so no real complaints although not concours. Also the heel pads are nothing like the originals. In fact the main floor mats don't fit well at all. I've had some others made up to match the old ones and will re stitch the old heel pads to the new ones. The most annoying thing was the carpet door panels are too short by about 2 inches!

I would have sent them all back but I was impatient to get the thing finished and with shipping back to the US etc its really not worth it. Original cost was 750 us$ which is pretty cheap but "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here. Overall about 4/10 I suppose. Not door panels but may be indicative of the overall quality of their products

For my '78 308 .....I bought the carpet kit from World and was very happy with it. I was even happier with their customer service. I cut one piece of carpet too deep and they replaced it for free.

I bought the door panel kit from GAHH and can tell you it looks great but I agree it is over priced. All it consists of is the door pocket with lock and a chunk of leather to recover the panel. But you know what they say, it is a Ferrari!
