Beta 55 wrenches were used in pre-Daytona tool kits. The early wrenches had molybdenum on the shank. Later wrenches had vanadium.

These have "Molibdeno" on them, which I guess is Italian for molybdenum.

The black Cavallinos were specific to a certain year of the modern TR.

That's a nice set of wrenches, no matter the year of application.

The flat cavallino in silver was for BB grill. The flat cavallino in black was for TR rear from 85 to as late as early 90 but the contoured cavallino was seen as early as 88.

GTO used contoured badges, not the flat ones.

Contoured Cavallino. Made in several sizes, still being made.

After looking at some pictures they may have been the flat ones. I'll let a GTO authority give the definitive answer.

Both the emblem and Beta wrenches look correct. I think it's possible they didn't come from the same car. The early cars used contoured emblems, so this seams to be post-vintage era grill emblem, but the Beta wrenches were mostly used in the the vintage era, so they are possibly older.

The "Auto" in the Beta wrench label is key. Beta has been making the No. 55 wrench sets from the 60's (maybe earlier) and still makes them today. The newer production Betas are virtually identical to the correct ones for vintage Ferraris, but the labeling has changed several times over the years. The "Beta Auto" label only appeared in the ones from the 60's and are correct for Ferrari's through the late 60s. The newer production wrenches are tagged "Beta" rather than "Beta Auto". Most of the "Vintage Ferrari" wrench sets listed on the popular auction site are actually newer-issue Betas, rather than the correct Beta "Auto" wrenches that came with the vintage (60's) cars.
