    I will be taping an interview for my radio show wednesday morning with Valentino. If you ever had a question for him, please send an e-mail to me and we will try to get it on the air.
    Tomorrow night we will be having dinner at Del Friscos in Orlando around 8:00pm. I won't pay for your dinner but you are welcome to come and see Valentino. He is a great person and if you are nearby, stop in.

    Ask him if he were the CEO of Lamborghini today what is his vision of Lambo's future supercars ?
    E.g. : only 4wd? More 2wd options? Coupes? Sedans? New LM002?

    His thoughts on the future of 4wd vs. 2wd was doing to be my question. I recall being told that the Balboni Gallardo was 2wd (rear) according to his personal preferences, so I'm curious to know if he thinks that's the best setup for the rest of the Lamborghini range too.

    By the way, was he given a Balboni Gallardo of his own when he retired? :)

    considering the issues with the cars in their own museum lets hope there are no plans for this.

    I think the interview should focus on his job as a test driver and his experiences while working at Lamborghini. And not for example about the factory plans for the future because he is not in the position to decide what will happen. Those are the kind of question you would ask Winkelmann. Ask him about his favorite cars, the development of cars, Ferrucio Lamborghini, how he experienced working with the engineers, etc. I have always wondered if he has a favorite Diablo model so that would be a question I would ask if I could.

    What happened? Did the interview already happen or is it next Wednesday?

    One someonewhat unrelated question I like to ask out of curiosity is what car he has as a daily driver. At our local porsche club meet a couple of years ago Vic Elford was a guest and I asked him what he drove and I guess was surpised at the answer. He basically has been able to drive any porsche on a track he wants for the past 50 years but his daily drivers are a ford escort wagon for him and a honda accord for his wife! I can imagine him drifting that 'lil escort around a 90 degree turn like he used to do with the 911s, with all four 185/14 tires screeching :)
