Questions from those that have owned both a F430 and 360

Another who prefer the looks of the F430 over the 360. The biggest negative for the 360 is the interior, looks like a older car.

 

430 headlights are much nicer too making the whole front look nicer. 458 took the headlights too far though, imo.

 

Without having read all the posts above, I had a year 2000 360 and a year 2007 F430 (currently have a 2009 16M). IMHO, the 360 is a better looking car than the F430... but that's about it. The F430 is a better car in all other aspects. Service is once/year fluid change... no chain tensioners, it's faster (engine and shifting). If you can swing the cost of the F430, I think it's worth it. If not, the 360 is an awesome car too. These are good problems to have

 

Looks are subjective - I enjoyed both my 360 manual and 430 F1, both fun cars but the 430 was much improved everywhere.

 

I agree with you about the 430 headlights. They look very modern and sleek, without taking it to the level of the 458 or so many current cars which have made headlights a more extreme styling statement.

I don't think the 430 headlights will ever look dated.

 

Rowan, I was doing a lot of the same research you are doing now about a year ago and pulled the trigger on my first Ferrari about 6 months ago. The best call I made in my research was Mike at Yellow Compass Group. I highly recommend giving him a call 973-610-7111. Go drive them and pick the one that you enjoy.

 

The F430 is the way to go.
