I have a 1994 348ts specile, It is my understanding these cars came with a wider rear -end for better handling, my rear rims have a spacer built into them for that very reason. Heres my question I am looking to replace these rims with a set of 355 rims I recently purchased, I realize that I am going to need different studs (355 ones I beleave). Since the rear rims have a spacer built in them now which makes them wider then the front, once I replace them with stock 355 rims won't I lose the different rear offset since 355 rims do not come with a spacer,or is it the fact that they are wider that would make up the difference, becouse after I replace all the tires then the front and rear will be the same offset. Or am I reading to much into this? I removed a rear stud and a front stud from the rims,(different length)I am hoping that stock 355 studs will fit..I am hoping someone whos done this can let me know re the offset questions...Thanks

I replaced my rims with 355 challenge rims. The 355 rims seem wider than the standard 348 rims, but I don't have measurements. Mine is a '94 tb challange.

The SS had wider wheels on the rear than standard 348, but the suspension was the same. I think mdshores on this site has a '94 SS with either 355 or 550 wheels on it.
