    Just had some questions regarding possibly buying a 355 or (00) 360.

    Browsing around for F-cars, I sometimes come across Eur. models that have been spec'd to be US legal. These cars are usually significantly cheaper than a US model.

    What are the downsides? Not really worried about resale value but is there a difference in build quality, etc.

    Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

    not significant difference, slightly more power if any.
    euro cars do not have warranty, but if you are out of warranty period, it makes no difference to buy euro.

    If you're not concered about resale, I personally would get a Euro. But you may want to make sure that the conversion was done right and the car has all the D.O.T. papers.

    you pay less to begin with, so you will get less when you resell.
    i will buy a euro if there is enuff discount, but so far what i have seen are like $115k for a '00 360, that's not enuff discount for me to go euro. maybe another 10k less.

    like pchop said, if not concerned with resale and you drive your car, get a euro. i would have, faster and a lot of parts are either different or missing,
    which makes it lighter, which makes it faster.

    besides that, isnt there something called the archives and the modern section
    zen?
