I had the chance to drive a Superleggara today and was thinking about a purchase. It has 6800 miles on it and they are asking 138K. Fair price? Any common problems specific to these cars? How long is the warranty? The brakes grabbed very hard in the last few miles per hour. The salesman said it was normal for carbon ceramics to do that. I guess I would jut have to get used to modulating them. Are the LP560s softer and more civilized? And is it really that much faster? Thanks for any help.

i assume you are talking about the new Superleggera? lp570? cant help you on price.

i just collected mine...warranty is for 3 years (renewable at least where i am) i find that Lambo has the hardest brakes (as in to get used to) unlike a porsche or ferrari its so much easier...at low speeds the lambo brakes are a pain in the ass.. step on the brakes a bit and it doesnt slow down much... add a little more pressure and the brakes bite! even worst if on the ceramic brakes.

but on the highway or on the move no worries its works like a charm.

i was deciding between the 560 and 570 but im a sucker for carbon fibre and went with the 570. drive wise its a love hate relationship i love driving it but its uncomfortable (for long drives) i had a backache and my left arm was aching after a 3hour drive!

560s are softer and more civilized, and MUCH faster. If it's smooth ride you're looking for than forget about the race/hardcore version of the gallardo. You don't want an SL you want a standard G.

I have read in several reviews that the brake grabbing problem is specific to the Superlaggara with ceramics (I do not have first hand experience with that model). Generally, it is not normal for ceramics to grab (as per your salesman's comment). I did not have a similar issue with my old 08' F430 Spider, nor do I have that issue on my current Scuderia 16M (both have ceramics).
