Quick advice needed -- BBi towing, jacking, bumper removal

    Hi All,

    I have a few questions hopefully you can help me...any pictures or links would be great.

    a) How do you load up a BBi on a tow truck? Where is the tow point from the front of the car?

    b) What are the best jacking points for the BBi?

    c) Are there instructions anywhere for the rear bumper removal?

    As a recent BBi owner myself, I can't really speak to these things with much experience / authority. Until someone with more experience chimes in, here are my 2c:

    a) I haven't had the car towed yet, but the owner's manual references a removable eye-bolt in the tool kit (see pic). You'll see the hole in the front bumper (valance).

    b) There appears to be quite a few spots in the chassis strong enough for this, but the owner's manual specifically calls out the points in-front of the rear wheel (see pic). I have found that if you jack here, you will raise both the front and rear wheel – which might be why they specifically mention this spot.

    c) I haven't seen this, but it might exist somewhere.

    Thanks so much this is very helpful. I looked at the bumper as well it looks like there are bolts all around the frame which can be accessed from the top inside the engine bay? I.e. with clamshell open go around and unbolt all fasteners...anything else that I should know about?
