Hi everyone, new 458 owner here.
I come from a manual cayman, then manual R8, so this is my first experience with DCT transmission.

i am wondering if i can get a quick answer on what the "correct" way to handle a stop is in the DCT transmission either in manual mode or full auto mode?

when coming to a stop do you down shift to 1st, then keep it in 1st while braking to dead stop? can the transmission even do that? is it constantly slipping the clutch when it is doing that? or is it better to shift down to neutral like a manual?

just a bit confused... thanks everyone for your help!

It will shift itself down to 1st if you roll up in 2nd, no need to do anything but brake.
