Yes I've already searched the Forums. I've called every transporter and everyone has given me a window of pick-up of 10-14 days. FedEx Passport can pick my car up tomorrow. SO has anyone actually used FedEx and would they use them again?

    Yes and absolutely.

I was ready to pay the extra $100 for "non-running" car, but the driver managed to start the Alfa. Which was pretty impressive since it had been sitting five months and a Spica Alfa can be tricky to start at the best of times. (I was already at the destination point. The condo manager was at the pickup point, and he couldn't even drive stick.)

    Slick truck, too.

For me, though, the clincher were the stories on FChat about the times when things go wrong -- you want the company that will stand up and make it right.

So, by that criteria, my experience isn't much help: it went perfectly. ;)
(I think I only found one such story on FChat about Passport, buried deep in the archives.)

They're not the cheapest, but you can sleep at nights.

Another Yes here. Used both Intercity and Passport. Both exceptional service and quality. Passport shipped my current 348 spider.

Thanks everyone for the positive endorsements. I have decided to use them. The process on the phone was easy and fast. Their price was less than some other competitor and I don't have to pay until the car arrives at the destination. The Ferrari dealership gave them a "thumbs up" too.

Passport Transport ranks VERY HIGH on my list. They have transported Lambos, Ferraris and Porsche for me over the last few years w/ no issue at all.

That "10-14 day window" stuff really gets to me. I wonder if they realize a lot of us are moving cars at the same time we're moving residences, closing on a house, etc., and can't really sit in the driveway for 4 days watching for the truck.

Good luck with FedEx - I'm thinking of using them next time.
