The 2000 M Roadster was delivered without any real problems.. (I had originally posted in that large Luxury Motors thread) There were three little hiccups.. 1) Driver rear tire was flat - $33 at the local Eurotire fixed it. It was leaking around the bead. 2) The delivery driver put a ding in the passenger door. It was very small, but he was honest and pointed it out to me and marked it on the delivery bill. $50 and the ding king dude fixed it. 3) The car came, minus the paperwork - temp tags, etc. The following day however, everything was delivered. Would I do business with them again? Uh, it's hard to say. If I came across another deal like this one, I wouldn't hesitate. If I could find a car similarly priced at a different dealership, I'd try them out first. The good points.. The car came exactly as described. It is mint. Period. In/out/under, everything is perfect. It really is. And of course the price - simply unbeatable. The bad points.. They act like used car salespeople when there is no need to. They described the car accurately and were honest, yet I guess from all the other shady dealings they do they tend to get squirrely when you ask questions. EXAMPLE: Question to LM: You say the tires are new. Are they brand new or like new? - Answer from LM: Look. Please! Blow this deal so I can sell the car for $4k more. Please!!.. Needless to say they are unprofessional in that respect. However, when buying a used car you have to roll with the punches I guess.. And I almost forgot the most important thing.. I'm going to look at a 308 GTB tonight. The price is right, the mileage is low, yet the interior is rough looking and the service records appear sparse. I'll know more by tomorrow..
