Hey, just wanna do a quick intro since I am bugging / will bug you guys and girls with questions My name is Max and I am 26 year old German located in Munich working for an american IT company. Always was into cars.. had some vintage BMWs (633,525 E12, some E24), had a Harley road king and my last project was a 1968 Buick Riviera I imported myself from L.A. which i basically rebuilt. This one had to leave my garage last atum and now there is an Italian beauty in it. I bought 3 weeks ago a 1992 348 TS, rosso/nero, 80k km, and I am so much in love... It was quite a good deal - service was almost new, price was pretty low. Only thing wrong is some minor electrical and the clima system. Last weekend the weather was good so the request I got in the other thread (post pictures!) will be fulfilled now. After that I tried to look after the compressor as AC is not working. What I saw then ... wow. Somehow the clutch of the AC compressor "exploded" and came off the coil. This was because the compressor got stuck. There was now way to move the shaft. I took the compressor apart and saw the damage as sliver liquid was leaking out. The "wankel disk" was grind off till the bearings felt out. Then the whole thing blocked itself. Wow.. So lucky that nothing else happend... Just ordered a new compressor, new dryer.. have to flush it properly Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Great car, congratulations! Sorry the AC comp broke so horribly. One other thing, the wheels are on backwards.
And if you have directional tires you will have to swap those side to side as well. Last summer I had new tires put on my 348. The tire shop could not believe the wheels were directional, but they are.
still cannot believe why we see so many photos of cars with the rims on backwards. I never notice it myself but I always ready someone else noticing it.
no worries... ive been told 5 times already. problem is cant change them since the tires got a running direction mark. next time when she gets new tires its the first thing to do
Welcome to the forum... You will find this place full of helpful folks and then there are the rest of us.
First of all welcome to the 348 Brotherhood, and welcome to FerrariChat. Congratulations on the purchase, and I love it that you are fixing your car yourself. That is AWESOME! Nice pictures, and good work.
