I'm not aware of a better / easier method.

I use hockey pucks to clear the undertray as the undertray cutouts are round.
I raise the quickjack on its first click, remove all the undertray bolts, then lower the car, remove the hockey pucks, remove the undertray, then raise the car up again with the undertray removed ready to do maintenance on car.

Thanks, that's pretty much my plan too. Will give it a go and see.
I was mainly curious to see if the 5000 series stands had the same clearance challenges.

    Hi Marshall,

The square rubber blocks will clear the F430 and my California T bottom with plenty of space. I slide the Quickjacks under the car, then I put hockey pucks on top of the quickjack square rubber blocks & that pretty much makes it perfect for spacing to raise the car. Hope that makes sense.

I finally got me a set of the 5000SLX, getting ready to set it up and try this weekend. I was lucky enough to find someone semi-local that had the frames only for $300/set, then found the control unit with everything else on eBay for $500, all new in box, so got it on the cheap. Looking forward to getting some work done. I HATE jacking cars up for some reason so if this doesn't kick my ass into gear, nothing will.

It's an absolute pleasure to use once all set up

Just make sure you have everything, when I first got mine from them for example, I was missing a Schrader valve on one of the cylinders, a simple little thing, but thwarted use of the system

I presume you can download a manual which will show you all of the parts you need
