    Texas of course!
Aghh, I can not remove my rear decklid lever on the 348! Entire car interior is about gutted and of all things this darn area but the door that is around the ebrake is still in!

I'm going to need to remove the latch from the rear to pick up some slack, to pull the latch out of the leather that's around it I guess. With some slack, lifting and rotating it to pull it through. Last thing I want to do is cut it! Anyone get the leather out around the ebrake to redo it? Talked to FBB and may have to remove the latch from the rear I guess to do the above and hope it still works right when I get it all back on.

This brings up a question though:

Where is the second emergency lever for the rear latch? What is the one inside the gas cap, that one doesn't seem to do anything then I pull it.

The one in the gas cap is for the bonnet (deck lid). It may be out of adjustment. I've removed the ebrake console without destroying it. It's kinda like Rubik's cube-keep messing with it. If you have access to the engine bay, you can get some slack in the cable by loosening the stop with an allen wrench thru the little access slot in the latch. Also consider unscrewing the ebrake console from the floor is you have not already. Recommend tequila.
