I have the muffler seemingly ready to come out but it looks as though I need to disasemble the two muffler parts to get the entire thing out of the car. Is this true and if not how?
    Thanks

Remove the rear bumper.Four bolts to the frame, disconnect the side marker lamps and the bumper comes free. The whole exhaust assembly should slide off without having to disassemble the two chambers.Alot easier than trying to wrestle the stock muffler out, plus installing new system is easier too.

The stock two-can exhaust comes out as one piece. Be prepared to catch it as it is relatively heavy. I replaced mine with a Tubi last year and love it. Way less weight and restriction and better sound.
