Quick question about F1 gearbox fluid...

    My warning light flashed indicating low fluid level in the F1 gearbox tank. Checked dipstick and it is slightly low. The manual says Shell something or other. Anybody know whether I could top this up with anything readily available? Like Auto transmission fluid?

    Wanted to use the car tonight...

    Thanks Barabus. All sorted now. Light came on and I did check what oil to use from the manual. Just wondered whether anyone knew of any readily available alternatives as I didn't imagine Halfords would stock it! In the end I just waited on got the right stuff on Monday. Topped up the level by a thimblefull and all's hunky dory.
