    I got this QR mechanism from a friend and decided to give it a try. Amazingly it works great. The whole thing is about an inch thick, which is nice since it brings the wheel closer to you. It's not too thick though, that you would have to reach for the turn signal lever. It bolts on where the 6 bolts fit on the steering wheel. It retains use of the horn and does not have any slop at all. The two halves mate together and then a lock ring turns about 1/4 turn and locks into place. This also makes ingress and egress easier. I know it's not totally necessary, but cool little toy. Also, it can all go back to stock.
