    (a bit of history)
I've had first aid kits out-of-the-box in my Mercedes' and Audi's since I first drove them, and I believe it may be a requirement in Germany for cars to have them (as far as I've read), but perhaps not in Switzerland.

    (good to know)
A first aid kit in my parents Mercedes also became very useful once, as I had a burn victim (in a remote forest location), definitely not feeling well, and the kit contents proved useful as a first step before we got better sanitation and care for my friend...

    (so what about today)
I bought my first Ferrari about a month ago, and there was no first aid kit inside. I bought a small one for motorbikes during a vacation this summer in anticipation, but I asked the dealer to order me the official Ferrari first aid kit, since I found out there's one.

    (here goes)
Today I picked it up, and was asked to pay 239 Swiss Francs for it (so around $200). It's a pretty steep price, considering the motorbike first aid kit cost me around $20, and the larger kits for cars go for maybe $30 or $40 (just a memory estimation on my side based on some European prices I've seen).

Our German members may already have this and know all about it, but I decided to post some pics and a quick review for those who've never even considered one (photos are posted within this review which may not the first one on this site, but it is an up to date one if it helps).

    So first things first:
    - It comes in what looks like a large yellow shoe box with 'authentic' written here and there because it's Ferrari ;)
    - It's quite large, much larger than the first aid kits I've had in my previous cars, and larger than the stock 'car' ones I see in the local do-it-yourself stores.
    - It has a lovely leather touch, the medic cross and magnetic latches.
    - The small stallion is precisely the same size as the one on my 360 keys (so probably from the same batch... not sure what they used to stick it on, could be glue)
    - Inside there's a fair amount of stuff and a manual with multiple languages.
    - What is included are band aids, scissors, and... well, I decided not to take it all out for now as it's a bit late, but if someone here wants to know more, I can take a deeper look :)

Now the only thing that bugs me, is that this pack is much larger than the small net behind the passenger seat... I was hoping to stock mine there, but I have doubts it'll fit...

The yellow box and little horsey has a price. But, it does look pretty.

It is a shame they don't have a space designed for the kit, or have designed the kit for an existing space.

I would add a bunch of 4x4 gauze pads and ice packs.

So cute... 200$ of cuteness to be more precise. Oh, well...

Where are you going to put it?

I'm guessing that think is at least 3" thick. Probably won't fit under many seats except for possibly vintage models.

DeSoto: I have the manual in the netting behind the drivers seat. There's a second similar netting behind the passenger, where I kept my temporary (much smaller and simpler) first aid kit, but is too tight to hold this as it really is about 3" thick as energy88 mentioned.

Right now it's in the frunk, but I was contemplating the option of getting a larger netting to replace the one behind the passenger seat so that this one would fit in tight. My 360 doesn't have the leather suit case straps behind the seats, so cannot use those. It luckily doesn't move around much in the frunk as it's quite heavy (I have nothing to attach it to inside for the time being...)

My seats are CF, there's definitely zero space for the kit there, I can hardly squeeze a wrist underneath the seats...
