Quick thanks to the FerrariChat.com community...

This site is awesome, I joined before the F1 season started up and this is where I come for F1 news and to chat about Ferrari. Hopefully in the years to come I'll stick around and use all the great info on here when I purchase my first F-car.

 

Thanks Rob for making Ferrarichat a place that resembles Ferrari in many ways. High class, intelligent, and open to let everyone know the great art that Ferrari embdoies!

Today is four years four weeks and two days that I've been a member of this forum... Certainly not the longest, but pretty damn long for me to remain consistent in one place...

 

As another newbie who was become addicted to this site (and is perpetually looking over his shoulder at work for the boss), I am happy to have become a member here. Such a trove of info and views!

I have 2 comments: 1, the real downside here is that threads move so fast I can barely keep up; 2, I popped for a membership and everyone who has not should do so also to show your support.

During one of the many Fchat activities, I told a good friend that never I thought to find one person as crazy about cars as me. Yet here we are a great community full of them!

Thank you Rob for creating this community. It facilitated the realization of this small third world country kid's dream.

was speaking with someone at Pebble Beach - can't believe that I joined in February 2004 with just a dream...by July 2004 I owned my first Ferrari (purchased from an F-chatter) and since I've made a couple gazillion new friends, driven in the Targa Florio, and seen the P 4/5 unveiled. Some stuff I knew I wanted to do, other new things I've discovered through this place.

All started here.

Just to be clear, and truthful, you did not explain why you do not delete accounts (Legal reasons?). And you did not reply to my second email. I have only returned to this site to check if my account had been deleted as I had politely requested. I just don’t like being counted as a +30,000 member in something I do not want to be a part of. But apparently once you check in you can never leave.

I do not enjoy this kind of back and forth on the Internet so I will just leave this issue and your site as it is and rely on you to handle my request as your conscience sees fit.
