I am almost at the point where I need to reinstall the quill shaft and rear clutch cover on my 91 Testarossa.

Molybdenum grease for the quill shaft splines, or something else? I use a Porsche specific spline grease (white stuff) on the clutch splines, but am uncertain if something else is better for the driven shaft.

It will be in gear oil on both ends. I have never greased that part as I put it back together. If it is completely clean and dry, I would just put some gear oil on the splines and slide it together.

So the ends are submerged in oil? That makes sense. Many thanks.
