This is what I was about to write. Smoking ain't cheap. And it can be extremely expensive depending on the type of smoker you are. I have a buddy that spends about $350-500 a month on his ciggies. That's a nice car payment. For the 350-500 figure; $7 per pack on average times 2 packs per day x 7 days. Then multiply that by the 4 weeks in a month. 6k per year. Yikes. Lets say he can sustain this. He's 30. If he lives to 80 assuming he can't break the addiction that would be $300,000 in ciggs. I'm thankful I never started because looking at those numbers makes me crazy.
