at least the factory of the outer left one is in France; it's labelled Bugatti, but actually it is Volkswagen / Audi.

Best Regards from Germany ( 25 mls. southeast of Molsheim/F )

yes he was, but the cars were considered as being french. He founded the factory in Alsace in 1909 and the racing cars were always painted blue.

A few years ago I had the pleasure to visit the Schlumpf Museum in Mulhouse. Probably the world's biggest Buggatti collections. Fabulous place. I was there for the Ferraris, of which they have quite a few as well (including Mario's). The best are the two false F1 and Le Mans grids with historic race cars. Anybody heading that direction should visit this place.

    Hello,

I spontaneously decided to make a short trip to Molsheim this morning, where the customer and dealer presentation of the Bugatti Veyron took place today.
Unfortunately access into the factory area was not permitted for the public and I wasn't fast enough with my digicam while driving around a traffic circle during Saturday morning traffic, when suddendly 4 ! preproduction Veyrons appeared in front of me.
An amazing car, looking so much different than on the photos I saw. Not sure, whether I could say 'beautiful', but 1001 hp and 1,2 Mio. Euro are frightening :)
The presentation was a big event with an exhibition of all important pre-war race cars and a big range of what Bugatti has manufactured.

    Best Regards

    Martin

Kewl, never saw that one before.

I was thinking of the "Velo Solex", which was a "bicycle" with a motor mounted on top of the front wheel. That motor did the job, but when going uphill some pedaling was required to assist the effort. I rode these things back in the seventies.
