QV Cab, possibly other models - ashtrays

I don’t smoke, but I put my garage remote in the center console front ashtray.

The spring-loaded, fold down ashtray cover jammed a little yesterday so I took a really close look inside the ashtray. With top closed the forward side is OPEN to below the console!

That means if I had ever dropped coins in the ashtray and closed the cover - the coins could have fallen into any mechanisms or hoses, or whatever.

Probably not good.

Am I missing a small rectangular box which fits in there to contain ashes, coins or gum…..?

I looked at the parts book - saw no insert.

If something exists please send an image. Im going to FerrParts (Sacramento) soon. Thanks, SG

Going to Sacramento in a few days - will visit FerrParts. Never been there but have bought parts.

Prices for the insert (just the insert) start at $200. Also, it appears some Lambo ashtray inserts are from same manufacturer - but size might be different. Also $200.
