I bought this famous magazine in April 1986. Now I have one. So awesome. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I would also point out the Exhaust shield me and a friend are working on Reproductions ones if you can't get your hands on OEM Euro versions So jelly! looks so good and clean, lovely driveway and neighborhood too by the looks if it.
Yup. I have the exhaust shield and the Ansa. The current exhaust shroud fits the exhaust tips that sit horizontally. The euro shield fit the Ansa Sport exhaust where the tips point up at an angle. When the Ansa gets fitted, I will install the correct shroud (already fitted and ready to install). Looks amazing,i did this with my car, seats out, scrub, rinse protect, came out very nice, something to be said about original interior, unless you do a rottiserie resto.
Very Nice and helpfully technical thead. I would need some help at my bumper conversion to EU. Could everyone help me or take me a few pictures where I can see how is a euro bumper mounted in the middle of the inner structure front compartment. Countach QV Fi. I work on my countach to switch the US bumper. Thanks a lot
As far as I remember, we copied the locations in the same areas as the original bumper. I will double check. You look like you have good fitment of the euro bumper. Well DONE!!
Thanks a lot, I will look forward to a picture if you have? Oh on the bumper it was a lot of fitment necessary. I still work on smooth gaps.
Update coming. Just waiting for the restorer to have another opening for me in early January. So, next bit of work will be: -the engine is getting pulled out, - discard the exhaust manifolds and install quick silver headers - Ansa exhaust installed, - engine compartment will be detailed and sprayed - might as well replace the clutch too. -re-tune the Webbers Stay tuned....
One final part that I don’t have is a set of air filter boxes. Here is a picture of what I’m looking for. My car didn’t have these when I bought it. Anyone know where I can find a set? Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Built a mounting plate for the center mount for the Ansa Muffler. Thanks to everyone that posted pics. I scaled your pics for approximate measurement. I took off one of the Vibrachoc’s off the car. Came out nice... time to weld it in. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

UPDATE... We have finally got the car back to the restorer. The last thing to do is to pull the motor and go through it, new clutch, water pump, plugs, etc... and install the new Ansa sport exhaust. Pulling the motor...webers and manifold off.... View attachment 2654591
