The left lower position was marked according Joes plan. The right upper position was messured on my 85 Countach DD.
The DD position seems to be correct. If we would drill the holes according the Lamborghini drawing we would damage the inside structur. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Correct, that diagram is for the earlier cars (LP400 through LP500S) up to the point where they raised the position for the Downdraft. That said note that early Downdrafts such as 1985 FLA12824 had the marker in the LP500S position. It was raised at some point later in the production of 1985 cars.
