    Excellent very nice paint spray DaniT ... Here is photo of a pair oem radiator box covers , the front Flange edges were not even sized match. One side was 8 mm and other 5 mm I believe.

    Hand made, did you expect something else ? No Countach is even, there is always a difference between left/right.

    At those days Lamborghini did not take much care about the symmetry of their cars. In today's time hard to imagine that car components are produced with such wide tolerances not even taking care if the LH and RH component is symmetric.

    On the other hand it is a real art to build from a lot of components that do not match well a finally nice looking car...


    For what you are going to use those air intake boxes?

    It was a long journey to finish the first high quality paint job in my own paint shop.

    After beieng always unhappy with the result of the outsourced paint jobs I took 3 years ago the decision to build my own paint shop.
    First I had to project and construct a special building. Then I had to purchase and install the spray booth plus all the other equipment needed.
    The most difficult part was to find the proper employees. After a lot of bad experience I was finally able to build a great team.
    To look now at the finished painted car is making me happy.

    Oh, a LP400S2, which one is this?
    although being a Countach fan since 1980 I'd prefer the Silhouette at the Moment.

    Raymond it’s a 86 QV and I will start after finishing the Silhouette. Yesterday I had on it the first engine start after restauration

    DaniT those air intake radiator boxes sold a few years back. Earlier model boxes had the rear flange 3 holes for mounting.

    If somebody is interested in mixing the same gold color for the wheels here you have the Standox formulation:

    To get the same matt effect like the original single stage paint you might use satin clear coat

    I would be happy if you let me know your corrections if there are any.

    And here is proof of that work in the hand-formed radiator scoops of our GLA12997 during it's restoration, the indentations caused by the hammer blows still evident on the unfinished underside.

    Upon fitment of the finished units, our coach-builder felt like these would probably not fit another car
