Thank you, I understand what the originals look like, hence my comment and my picture, but the perforations of the posted website look a little 'off' as the diamond shaped holes appear as horizontal squares, which I think changes the look of the pattern.. In my pictures ,I was also pointing out the small surounding hole pattern, with missing perforations, this could simpley be the seat suppliers hole pattern tool, iloabw, had a flaw, during the making of the seats for my car, and poss a few other, then replaced by a new when the flaw was discovered.or poss all seats look like this, post a picture if one of you have this type interior, thanks
I am grateful to be following along with this project; since I was a kid I've always found cars in a state of disassembly far more interesting than the finished item, and when the disassembled car is a Countach? Wow. It's also good to see alternative ways of setting-up a shop; the amount of daylight in Dani's facility is superb and must make it not just easier for the craftsmen to deliver good results (natural light being the best), but must also be a happier work environment (vitamin D production!). Here in the northeast of the USA, this kind of daylight in a shop would be unusual. Thank you very much for sharing this access. John in CT/USA
John, thank you for the kind words. I was locating the paint shop building on the south of my property to achieve the best daylight condition. The building is high enough to add in future a second floor. Daylight is a big advantage for any precision job. The downside is that a lot of glass is quite expensive and is increasing the costs for cooling and heating. But for a quality job the advantages definitively prevail.

I remember seeing the ad for this car and thinking it would need a ton of help for a new lease on life.. you certainly are giving it that!
I have been following this thread for some time. You are doing an amazing job on this restoration !!!
Thank you all for the friendly comments! The works on the car continue but during the summertime I spend the weekends far away from my pc ;-) The car was moved from the paint shop to the assembly area: Image Unavailable, Please Login
