    On 2009/09/25, Franco Toni died.

    Every Ferraristi, which are familiar with Maranello, knew him.
    He had a very famous Ferrari garage in the via Abetone.
    This man was very friendly, we spent hours discussing with him about Ferrari.
    Today's Ferrari was not exactly "his" Ferrari. I wouldn't have discussed with him about Ferrari Park... It was more interesting to discuss about 330 P4 cam shaft, or old Ferrari design.
    Franco was mechanic in the 60s in the Scuderia.

    Personally, he was the man who made me sit in my first Ferrari : a red 308 GTS, when I was 13 years.

    R.I.P Franco, we'll ever have a thought to you when we'll be in Italy.

    (His sons continue since his retirement years ago the management of the garage, surely one of the best in the world for Ferrari cars).

    A visit to Toni's workshop is a must when visiting Maranello. Once I was there with two friends. One friend is quite tall and Franco noticed this too. He asked my friend to sit in a Drogo Ferrari that was in the shop. He could barely fit! Franco had a great laugh about it! :)

    I have been in his shop 3 times, and talked to him a couple of times too. RIP.. He was a legend. :(

    Toni auto is just across the road from the factory, probably 200 meters from the old factory entrance
