For our summer vacation this year, Mrs. JRR, Luca, and I have travelled to Park City (ok, actually Deer Valley) Utah. I must say, this is an absolutely gorgeous area! We did some rafting yesterday, a little riding today, and perhaps a bit of hiking tomorrow. Although we really haven't been on the lookout for any Ferraris, we did spot a TR parked at the golf club at Promultory(sp?).

The beauty of this place almost has me thinking about a move out west. Not sure I could stomach the winters (I do ski.... but 6 months of snow is a lot of wintertime), but the summer sure is nice.

Many years ago, we went fly fishing near Sundance on the Provo, and it was intoxicating. Thus, the return this year. Any Fchatters in this area?

I'm glad you like it here. There are several of us in the area. I'm in Salt Lake City. I don't own a Ferrari but I have a wide array of European cars that need various work.

Sweet, Daniel! I only got as far as Emerald Isle today! <grin>

You ought to buzz by Miller Motorsports Park for a look-see.

Park City is a nice place... when I need to get away for a day or two I go there and its only 45 minutes from my front door.

There are a few of us around the Salt Lake/Park City area. However, most of the F-Car owners I know in Park City, are only part time residents. They have cars/homes in PC, but only for vacation purposes.

However, I rarely make a trip to Park City that I dont see an Fcar, Bently or Astin Martin running around town.

If you are lucky you may even spot one of two Enzos (Silver, Black) that are in the area.

Here's what I spotted tonight! A true tifosi, just outside Heber City, enjoying a real cowboy dinner...

(Luca was absolutely in heaven with the cowboys, horses, singing, etc!)

About every time I go to Park City I see a couple ferrari's. I think there are 2 Enzo's in the area also. You know, I always wanted to have a house in Deer Valley overlooking Jordanelle lake. Then I realized I needed at least 5 million to even be in the ball game. A place in NC and Utah would be great, but you'd definitely freeze if you just lived in Park City. Remember, Utah is a giant desert. You have 110 degree temperatures in the south and 95-100 degree temperatures in the North during the summer (without the humidity). Then in the winter anywher past St. George will drop to below freezing. That's why most of the people in the area have 8 million dollars homes in California and Deer Valley.

Oh yeah, you'd be crazy not to check out Steve Harris Imports!!!

My wife's family is from Northern UT, and I had never visited where her parents grew up. We went the first time a few weeks ago, and I was stunned by this quaint little town in this beautiful valley with mountains all around. My immediate reaction was, "Don't let this land get out of the family!!"
