I recently purchased a 2011 R8 4.2 with a manual. I love the car but having 2 teenage boys that want to do car things with me, I cannot take them both in the R8 and end up driving my 996 or, if its working, my Series 2 Jaguar XJ6. I am looking at a 2020 M4 with a manual and a new M3

Any opinions? Honestly at the moment, the only thing keeping me from making the switch is the lack of clean R8s on the market and the styling of the R8. Its such a better looking car than the new BMW.

    TIA

I'd say keep the R8 and get an E36 or E46 M3. Much more interesting to drive.
