    They only make 5.2 V10 droptops as far as I know.

    I saw one driving up in CT back in May before it was out....almost crashed my car because I had to triple check what went by me!

    As for the OP's question....yes, they have been on sale for a while now.

    Yes. Saw a red / black one around town about a month ago. Come to find out it belongs to a local guy (thought I recognized him) who did the whole European delivery thing.

    Don Rosen Audi outside Philly had one a few weeks ago in the showroom, noticed it was gone the other day.

    I don't think the V8 is availible yet, from what I've read.

    They are gorgeous cars. I like the R8 coupe, but the Spyder looks great also. I saw a black with black top and dark wheels R8 Spyder on the other side of the freeway this weekend, and it looked amazing.

    The R8 forum is a good source of info. The cars have been for sale in the US since August. Great cars.

    Never saw a gold car i liked 'till i saw one of those babies at the Cleveland (of all places) auto show last year. WOW!!

    One in red on the show floor At the Miami auto show right now..gorgeous.

    I don't care what clarkson says this thing is epic. Is it my imagination or is the droptop ever slightly louder than the hardtop v10? Either way. Sounds amazing. I like how it looks, no clue what it's like from the inside, brilliant i imagine. Either way. Lovely machine.

    The interior is gorgeous, no other word comes to mind. Saw a metallic burnt orange one under the Audi tent at Petit....;)

    I saw that R8 too. The R8 is the best looking exotic currently on the market IMHO...
