    Hi all,
Please forgive me but this is for a very worthy cause which offers a real way for us racers to give something back.

Nov. 21 & 22 is the next Fight against Cancer road race and DE at MSR Houston sanctioned by the newly formed Auto Racing for Charity Foundation. We’ve all been impacted by cancer in one way or another. I don’t know a single person that has not. This is the second race of this inaugural season of which I participated in the first and plan on participating in this one as well.

This is a very “Grass Roots” effort which if you are like me you might miss at the race track. The cars that raced at the first event were primarily old IMSA BMW, Porsche, Ferrari race cars from the 90’s with a few present day ones as well. What we are trying to do is grow this event and make a real impact on the fight against cancer.

I've uploaded an official entry and event mailer pdf along with this message, you may need for me to email it direct (my email is [email protected] ) as I'm not sure how that will post up. But I want to give you a heads up here instead of a mass email as we don’t have a lot of time till the event and many of you are from out of town or out of state. November is the PERFECT time to visit Texas! There will be practice on Friday, qualifying and the race on Saturday along with an awards dinner that evening. Additionally two DE run groups will run along with us to help the fight and on Sunday we will have the Highland Village Ferrari Festival Concorso.

I sincerely hope many of you can come participate and please don’t be shy about spreading the word.

PLEASE NOTE ******All funds raised for Race Against Cancer will directly benefit cancer research and patient care at the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine.

We are also looking for corporate sponsors. So if you or anyone you know of is interested, please have them contact myself or direct to Mickey Mills [email protected] head of the foundation.

We already have several individuals or companies contributing by matching dollar for dollar of each entry fee which all goes directly to Baylor.

Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or would like to help in any way. You can also reach Paul Cox at 832-216-5155 [email protected] as well.
