I had the pleasure of attending the featured races at the Barber Motorsports Races this afternoon here in Birmingham. I was associated with assuring the contemporaneous flyby of a T-6 and P-51 client of mine with the precise ending of the national anthem before the featured race of the day. I am proud to say that if we had done it a hundred times, it couldnt have been done better. We roared over at the same moment that the anthem ended and the engines started. The crowd roared! The great thing for me personally was being able to observe the workings of race control from the inside. Enjoy the pics.
