    Thinker my of filling my 355 with VP C9 race fuel for the winter. Does anyone have experience with this?

    No need to run high octane (100+) race fuel unless your engine is 13:1+ compression ratio. Since the f129 is 11:1 c/r it would be a waste of money in my opinion.

    I think he means storing it with a fuel that has no ethanol.

    I don't think it would hurt but I've never had a problem with storing cars over the winter with regular pump E10 either.

    Where do you guys get race fuel?

    The only place I see it is at the track... and at RA you are looking at $10-12+ a gallon. Do gas stations around the tracks sell race gas?

    I don't know about there, but at one of the lakes here they sell non ethanol gas for the boats at the marinas. Since he is in Connecticut here is a link of gas stations that ell ethanol free gas. http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=CT

    Its really stable I keep it in my lawn mower the 2 times a year I use it. Also keep it in the generator, almost never goes bad

    Was thinking about using non ethanol racing fuel for winter storage. VP makes a fuel called C9. 96 octane, ethanol free.
