    For those of us without a pit in the garage or a lift..... you might want to get some "Race Ramps Wheel Cribs" Great for raising the car a bit when detailing the lower body parts or just to do work underneath without have jackstands in the way. Also, you can torque suspension bolts properly with the car's suspension under load at the correct ride height. Can't do that with jackstands.

    The "wheel cribs" come in various heights, widths and configurations. The ones in the photo are the 8 inchers but I've got some taller ones too. Very light weight (type of foam) but strong. Not super cheap but definitely worth having IMO.
