A while ago there was a lot of curiosity about the Racing Seat Lifter - what is was, how it worked, and whether it could it be retrofitted to a non-equipped Racing seat.

I finally took some photos to post so you can see it, at least in the F12 version. I would suspect its similar on the 458.

That long silver-ish lever is a pump handle - you pump it up to increase seat height, you pump it down to lower it. The switch is also for the electrically controlled seatback angle (which IIRC is what the Cali had).

The entire seat base appears to be different than on the standard racing seats (at least, the ones on our 458) so I would doubt a "retrofit" is economically or mechanically feasible.

I had posted previously that with the racing seats, my wife needed a little boost so we had a custom pad made in matching leather/stitch, she may still need it with the seat boosted all the way up (she is 5'2")

    hope this helps

    BTW car is just incredible

As seat levers go that's a work of art. Congrats on the car.

I don't mean this to be snarky but the pump handle looks very similar to the one that came standard in my Abarth.
