Does anyone know where I can buy a mounting bracket for a Sabelt racing seat? I bought the seat with the car as a spare and have been looking into installing it but I'm having a tough time finding someone that has the hardware for it. I've looked here but didn't find anything: Home page.

Or better, does anyone know someone that can fabricate this mounting plate? I'd probably need two as driving with one factory passenger seat looks weird to me.

    Thanks.

I never looked into this but isn't the FIA spec seat have rules to where the 4 base mounts are on all the FIA spec seats? That would mean a universally available sparco bracket can fit other FIA seats. So have you googled sparco seat mount? Those mounts are all over the place. You can also make mounts or have mounts made and you can adapt mounts to factory sliders if you are not too tall. Most likely your helmeted head will be too tall and the issue will be raking the seat so you fit. That is partly why you see fixed back seats with multiple layback angles. Does this help you at all?

FBB is right-- the Sparco sliders fit Momo and OMP, etc, so there's a very good chance they'll fit your seat... assuming it has provisions for bottom mounting. If it's side mount only you'd have to use the side mount plates on top of the sliders, which would add height. If the seats have side mount provisions and you're okay with a fixed seating position you could just fasten the side mounts to the OE seat mounting holes and then adjust the height and rake to your tastes using the various attachment holes on the brackets (all of which is much easier said than done due to the tight working conditions).

    HTH.
