My 458 has the racing seats and I notice about a 2-3 gap between my head and the head rest.
I am used to my head resting against the back of the head rest normally, and is much more comforable for me.
Does anybody else notice this? If so, any solutions. Maybe some type of pad on the head rest that is available.

The gap may be a deliberate design feature to allow for a helmut during track use. I don't know of any specific purpose pads. You may have to improvise.

I will trade you my prius seats...and I am so nice that i will do it for no extra charge :)

I would guess its for helmet use, after all they are racing seats.

In most cars that have "racing seats" there will be a gap....it's for the helmet to rest against the back of the seat and your head to still be in a position to see where you are going and look atright ahead....the whole idea of a racing seat is for use on a track.....

That what I figered, I guess I will just have to wear a helmet, or maybe get some kind of attachable headrest. Saw some on Amazon.

It's funny I have never driven any car where my head touched the headrest while driving at least.

the reason to have a head rest is that during a crash it will stop your head when its benting backward, not for people to rest their head when they are in the car.
