@tomc I took your dream car out for a spin this afternoon. Just wish it was for real! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Suh-weet!!! My track dream car is gen 1 599XX, not the EVO variant, but I wouldn't give that one back if Santa left it under my tree! [emoji2] By the way, did you say that you can buy a three-pedal set up? T
Yep, you can have three pedals. In fact, I just upgraded mine to what's called a load spring pedal, think of it as having 80 pounds of pressure now when using your break. By doing that, it allows me to use my old brake for a clutch. Just don't know if I will use it since I hardly drive cars without F1 style clutch. Plus, you can always use paddles for older cars.
I am really enjoying the photo mode of Assetto Corsa! It is almost more fun taking photos vs. driving. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was well worth the upgrade. Completely different feel but is good. I would love to try one of the hydrologic ones. I also ended up joining a league that runs weekly which has been a blast. I just finished our Sunday race. A few guys in the league are full time race drivers and offer really good advice.
I just ran across this thread... I run both Iracing and Asseto Corsa - I like all the different cars you can get ... i usually run Goodwood vintage stuff, and then I have tons of F-1 cars from the 50's - to current era, my favorite is 641 from 1990... from Sim dream... the sound is great! love to catch up with some Fchat guys on line to race with ... ping me if any interest - either on I racing or Asseto corsa. are you running Content manager? or AC direct on stream?
Cool. Just got this set up in my garage Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's awesome. Can you give details on the build. Also, have you ever tried Oculus goggles with your set up. I wonder if it adds an other dimension to the immersion compared to the monitors.

I just downloaded the Assetto Corsa Competzione game with the Nurburgring 24hr Pack and I'm really underwhelmed. The graphics at 4K are nice, but all the cars understeer terribly. I'm using a similar computer setup with an Xbox One gamepad and it's very aggravating. Reading online comments, it seems to be a common issue and some say the cars really only behave properly with a steering wheel. Even worse, there's not even a native option to reassign the buttons on the gamepad, as I don't like using the triggers to accelerate and brake. Overall, it's a very frustrating experience as I expected so much more from the game than just eye candy.
