going to install my V1 on the Dino, I want it to turn on only when the key is in "ignition on" position. Where should I get the power from?

Do you have a multimeter? If so, check on the fusebox for connections that do not have power when the car is turned off. Then, you can piggyback a feed to your radar detector from one of those, make sure you use a fused line, with an appropriately rated fuse inside, feeding from the fused side of the box, not from the hot feed side of the box.

Do you have an operators manual? It has an electrical diagram in it. Or, PM me with an email address and I'll send you a pdf of the wiring diagrams.

Don't need to spend a lot on the meter, just get one that will read voltage and resistance. $20 USD should do it.
