Just got my new Scud. Did not have radio code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hopefully the previous owner can help or ferrari palm beach or ft. Lauderdale can help by phone? If you get stuck on this for some reason, a set of Mercedes radio keys can be used to slide the radio out and if you tell me the last 4 digits of the radio serial #, I should be able to give you the code. As long as it is the Becker radio. I have the keys and software at my shop in Margate if you feel like taking a cruise down 441? No charge of course.
What a nice offer!! Advice to the OP, once you get it straightened out, make copies of everything and keep one set with the manual and owners documents, and another in a safe place. My local dealer requested copies so they can keep on file. That way if they ever service the car where they might shut off or remove the battery, they can restore the radio without bothering me. There are two other code key cards. One has the electronic and mechanic codes for the immobilizer. The other red plastic card I am unsure of its significance...
Thanks pm - as noted above unless you remove radio you can't get s/n to decode into radio code - assuming latter is not in your manual pack (small piece of paper a bit like a bank card PIN)
Thank you for the generous offer-i will try the original dealer-if i do not have success i will head on down-much appreciated!
OP, I had the same issue with my 430 Scud that I picked up last week... called the original dealer and they had the radio code stored in their computer. Good luck!
