    Hope this helps, this is the factory wiring for the Sony set, so the wiring instructions for the Pioneer should be compatible.

    59014 = Radio / reciever
    59016 = Pre-amp

    Legend of connections from 59014 as shown in diagram..................

    1 = violet = L/H tweeter
    2 = green = R/H tweeter
    3 = grey/red = Front shunt ECU
    4 = violet/black = R/H tweeter
    5 = grey = L/H tweeter
    6 = black = Earth
    7 = red = Pre-amp

    you need connect the pre-amp connector to a switched 12volts comming from the radio. It is the connection for the antenna amplifier. Without connection of this the antenna (which is in the windowscreen) is not work. Don't connect just stright onto the bettery, because is draining the battery when you no use the car for long time.

    The grey and red wire is 12volts swithced on byt he ignition key, but better to check double with a volts meter.

    Anyway, why you want a radio ? The engine is all the music any body needs to have, no ?
