I just got my 430 Spider a few days ago and recently I noticed that when I'm driving and listening to the radio, after a couple minutes, the signal is gone on all channels and won't come back on. I tried shutting off and turning on the radio many times, but the results are the same.....after 10 seconds, no signal on any of the channels. Is the stereo defective? Problem with the antenna? By the way, I have the stock (cheap) Ferrari stereo system.

Your not driving fast enough, the faster you drive the longer it stays on. It's a Ferrari design feature.

Otherwise, it doesn't sound like a fuse as it comes back on. I'd call becker autosound and ask them what they think. they sell and repair becker radios. You can check the connections in the back of the radio if you have the radio removal keys (may have come with the manual, etc) There are videos on youtube showing how to remove it. The 430's came with 6112 cascade radios. One key slot is obvious, the other is hidden under the removable volume control panel (slide the ferrari logo and the panel pops out) Your other option is to replace the radio. The becker is hideously complicated, I wonder if its a setting... Ask Becker

Don't take this the wrong way it you have the greatest symphony in the world on tap and can control it with your right foot and you turn the radio on?

Yeah I only found out my radio has a tape dek behind the display and I spun out a tape dek in a 2002 car. I haven’t seen cassette tapes for such in yrs.
I never listen to the radio any how love the sound my cs exhaust makes. Best sound track I’ve heard in yrs.

If the radio signal is gone - then its the crappy Becker head unit issue. It will very expensive to repair.

If the sound is completely gone / no audio then its possible you either have a power and/or ground issue or your power amp is starting to fail.

I wished you lived close to me. You can stop by my house and I will try and help you.
I also have the crappy Becker head unit stored in my garage as I have replaced my entire stereo system. We can swap it out temporarily and see if its a head unit issue.

Come on over if you can. My garage fridge is full of beer waiting to be consumed.
    I mean that.
