Radio keeps going out

I'm thinking its the amplifier, but I'm no techno guy, just someone that would like to listen to Jim Rome on sportsradio or the latest top 40 stuff while doing 80+ through Vegas, but everytime that I run over a bump on the road, my radio will go out for a split second and then come back up.

This just started up in the past month or so.

Any thoughts?

Also, any suggestions on where to take the car in Vegas for an audio guy?

Yes, I actually went to Best Buy to talk to them but they won't even come close to a ferrari.

oops. . . I have a 91 348TS

 

if its a 348 you are referring to, mine did the same thing. i also noticed the stereo getting really hot... i replaced the stereo.

 

Check your fuse holder that is probably an in-line twist open configuration that connects to your battery. Sometimes the fuse gets loose under shock and it loses it's connection, somtimes it just blows. Also check all your connections for loose fitting wires.
