Radio replacement

I don’t think ferrari ever thought about the sound system in their cars. I love the exhaust note but once in a while I like to have good tunes on long road trips. My amp just went bad on my F430, I hear it’s a common problem. I figured out why, even when key off there still power going to it. The factory I’m my opinion sucks so I’m thinking of replacing both, one drawback. There’s no after market connector that connects the factory amp plug so I would have to splice intone. My question is, how important is it to keep everything factory?
