    Hi guys I ve added 348 SP ( 94 ) to my collection .
It came without a radio .
Enclosed a pic of the what looks looks like OEM harness .
There is a coaxial aerial areial cable btw too not shown .

i just fitted a cheap e bay rad with blue tooth / MP3 , it works but it used the black Earth and big grey +ve to connect up . As most will know the big grey is a permanent live .

While testing with my multimeter and the ignition key I couldn’t figure out what the red wire does ?
The pic is what I have to deal with , I found the speaker colours and other wires from searching on here .

As you can see the previous owner ( on removing his device ) temp placed the black Gnd , and the little red wire iam enquiring about in a bit of black tubing , they weren’t touching .This tube was to some how isolate the pair from each other and the car frame ? .

Anyhow what does this little red do ? -

Are there 7 wires in the photo?

The wiring diagrams only show 6 wires:

small violet and grey: right speakers
small green and violet/black: left speakers
large grey: live battery power from fuse
    large black: ground

The red wire may be a source of key power, perhaps coming through a fuse which has been removed or has blown?
